Register as a buyer and login to your account. Only logged in buyers can access full sellers’ profiles with their contact information.
From the list in the left top corner of the website pages choose a category you are interested in. The system will save your choice and will automatically choose the appropriate category when you return.
Use our “Find A Pet” section with search function to browse pet listings and the Seller Directory to find a good seller.
If you bought a pet please leave your feedback for the seller you dealt with.
QualifiedPets.com has various features helping people to sell pets.
First, you should register as a seller. If you are already registered please login to your account. Once you’re logged in you can list your pet ad. Go to the “Pet Listings” section where you can find the list of already listed pets if any and the button opening the form for submitting your pet listing.
Carefully enter all the required information, choose the category and the breed of your pet, and upload its photo. Remember that it is very important to pick up a good-looking eye catching photo of your pet. The first impression people get from pet listings depends on the pets’ photos. Describing your pet think of why people should like it, try to tell them about all its distinguishing features.
Second, all registered sellers are listed in the Seller Directory. People looking for reliable sellers can find your profile there and you should prepare it appropriately.
Third, you can use our banner ads engine to advertise yourself as a breeder.
If you sold a pet ask the buyer to leave a feedback for you and rate your services. Don’t delete the pet listing but check the “Sold” checkbox in the pet’s profile. Leaving the listing on the site will help you to demonstrate your experience to your potential clients.
One cannot be too careful! No matter how high your trust to the person you are going to deal with buying or selling a pet is, always remember to get and check as more information about him/her as possible; schedule a phone call (check the rates beforehand if you are going to call overseas), get details of your agreement and his/her contact information in written and signed.
Whenever possible use escrow services to protect yourself from receiving a bad check, fraudulent money order or a charge back from a credit card transaction.
If you are buying a pet:
- Don’t hesitate to ask many questions about the seller and his/her pet. Ask for the pet’s and its parents’ pictures, pictures of their facilities, etc; ask for specific objects to be in the picture to make sure the seller really takes pictures of his/her pet.
- All reputable sellers have plenty of references. Ask them for contact information of their veterinarian, people who purchased pets from them earlier.
- Don’t hasten with purchase especially if the seller makes a significant discount or ads any valuable additional services free of charge.
To provide our customers with better protection from frauds we have developed an Anti-Scam System. This system collects and analyzes information about all users and their activity and reveals scammers by certain criteria.
If you suspect any user of scam you can create Scam Alert. This is available from each seller profile. Scam Alerts don’t influent on user accounts and cannot be used for unfair competition but they initialize additional checks. In general if you are not a scammer you have nothing to be afraid of.
An escrow service can protect you from disagreements on receipt of product or services, misunderstandings, and other issues that can come up in the online marketplace.
Briefly, you are hiring a licensed and bonded 3rd party company to hold the funds until both parties are satisfied with the transaction. When the buyer says he is satisfied with everything, the funds are released to the seller. It protects both the buyer and seller. There are a lot of online escrow services and you should be careful while choosing one because there are fake escrow service providers. Try to find on the Internet as more information as possible about the escrow service you are going to choose.

Yes, you may. If you wish to list a pet for adoption you have to be registered as a seller. Once you are logged in your seller account you can ad the pet listing and check “For Adoption” checkbox in the pet’s profile. For more information read “How to sell a pet?” above.
By default sellers in the Seller Directory are ordered by total number of pets listed by them. The more pets for sale or adoption you list the higher your position in the directory is.
